Questions

What is Bosh?

It installs a working web-app foundation — Google login, Stripe payments, a database and auto-renewing SSL — onto a server you own, from a single command. You build your product on top of it.

Do I need to be a developer?

You need to paste one command into your server (we walk you through it). Building on the foundation afterwards is done with your own AI tools or editor — the auth, payments and SSL plumbing is already done for you.

What do I need before I start?

A fresh Ubuntu (24.04/26.04) or Debian (12/13) VPS, a domain you can point at it, a Google account (for sign-in), and a Stripe account (test keys to start).

Does the site and its data belong to me?

Yes — everything runs on your VPS. After deploy we're out of the loop: the app, its database and your users' data live entirely on your server, under your control.

Is it real payments or test mode?

Deploys start in Stripe test mode so you can build safely. Switching to live payments is a deliberate step you trigger later, after Stripe verifies your account.

What happens if a deploy fails?

Your credit is refunded automatically and you can retry. You're only charged for deploys that actually run.

How much does it cost, and can I cancel?

Deploys are paid for with credits — see the pricing page for current packs and plans. You can cancel a plan any time from your account; details are in our Terms.
